MEHA Annual Conference

The 36th annual MEHA Annual Conference will be held in Grand Rapids, Michigan
April 4th – 6th, 2013
This year’s theme is “Meeting of the Minds: Leadership. Innovation. Collaboration.”

Faculty: $140
Non-MEHA Members: $150

Conference Topics

We are accepting a broad range of topics such as student research, Honors pedagogy, unique learning approaches, etc. We do not have tracks scheduled at this time because this will be determined by the proposals.

Tentative Conference Schedule

Friday: Check-in between 4:00 and 7:00pm
Friday Evening: Welcome Reception
Saturday Morning:
Sessions from 8:00am – 1:00pm
Posters will be set up Saturday morning so that the winners can be announced at the banquet
Saturday afternoon:
“City as Text” following sessions and lunch (on own)
Saturday Evening:
Banquet at approximately 6:00pm
Sessions from 8:00am – 1:00pm

The conference registration includes the banquet and breakfast for both mornings. There are restaurants in close proximity to the Holiday Inn for students to have lunch on their own.

Talent Show

The essence of a great mind is an understanding of the ways in which knowledge can be gained and artfully shared with others, which is why MEHA wants you to bring your creativity to the center stage at our Talent Show, which will be taking place at the conference. If you are interested in participating, please note it in your abstract or poster session proposal.
