The Mid East Honors Association is pleased to announce a Student Poster Competition. Student presentations in the form of posters, emphasizing models for Honors courses and curriculum, student organizations and activities, and experimental learning projects (directed research, scholarship on community engagement, scholarship on service, or scholarship on leadership) will be the focus of the competition.
Gift card prizes will be awarded for first, second, and third places.
Poster abstracts should be emailed to honors@gvsu.edu with the subject line “Poster Session Proposal for MEHA.” The deadline for submission is March 15, 2013.
Student Poster Competition Rules
- The lead author student must be present for the poster session (tentatively set forfor the morning of Saturday, April 6th) at the MEHA Conference.
- Posters should be presented on tri-fold poster boards, as it will not be possible to tape or pin them to hotel walls.
- If possible, students should bring an easel for their poster.
