PROFESSIONAL POSITIONS
Officers of MEHA include a President, a President-Elect, a Faculty Representative, and a Secretary-Treasurer. The President is the immediate past President-elect and holds office until his or her successor is installed. The President presides at all meetings of the organization, appoints committees, and performs such duties as pertain to the office of President. The President-Elect is elected at the annual meeting and holds office until their successors are elected and installed. The Faculty Representative serves a term of one year and is elected annually. The Secretary-Treasurer oversees administrative and financial matters associated with MEHA and serves for the same duration as the President.
Student Representatives
The purpose of the student representative position is to provide a student voice and perspective during MEHA executive committee meetings. It is also the responsibility of such representatives to respond to e-mails throughout the course of the year in regard to issues that affect MEHA and any planning of conferences.
