My eight poems from the collection entitled The Space Where Loss is Found delves into the topic of bereavement from the perspective of hope. In the busyness that we all face in daily life, especially during the times that we are all facing during the global Pandemic, taking the time to contemplate this topic enables us to heal and connect. We all face loss in some form: loss of employment, love, opportunities, health, and life, so we can all relate to these poems in some way. I wrote this set of poetry to heal, offer light to others, and connect as much as possible. I believe that we are stronger together, and aim to promote healing with this work.
